The Challenge
The situation was complex, due to the many regulatory, technological and commercial hurdles involved in transferring ownership from a local Mexican company to a multinational player such as Eutelsat, who continues to manage and grow this important business.
Our Approach
NYBAY represented Eutelsat in Mexico together with our international partner firm, Perella Weinberg Partners, who sourced the client and the transaction. Satmex (Satélites Mexicanos) was a prominent Mexican satellite operator acquired by Eutelsat in 2014 for $831 million.
