Dr. Agamemnon ("Memos") Koliatsos is NYBay's representative in Greece. Based in Athens, his investment banking and advisory career spans over three decades, having been General Manager and Chairman of Attalos Securities, later purchased by Laiki Bank, a leading Cypriot bank. Memos has also held positions as CEO of Theolia (a GE subsidiary) and General and Portfolio Manager for Commercial Bank Group.

Memos has advised many companies and investment funds, including Carrefour, Switzgroup, Demco Group, Credia Bank, Alpha Channel and Proodeftiki. He is a member of the advisory board of AED (an Austrian best practices organization), has held advisory positions in the Greek government and worked as an Industrial Economist and International Macroeconomist at the European Council and the European Parliament in Brussels.

At Nybay, Memos has specialized in bringing Greek-centered deal flow to our clients in areas including real estate, hospitality and renewable energy, while also opening doors to clients interested in doing business in Greece generally or establishing high-level contact with local authorities.

Memos holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University (May 1994), where he also earned an M.A. and M. Phil in Economics. At Columbia, he was recognized as a President's Fellow and a Sloan Foundation Fellow, and taught courses in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Memos also earned an M.S. in Management from Boston University (1986) and his undergraduate degree in Economics from Athens University (1982), where he was Valedictorian.
