Alice McLaughlin

Alice McLaughlin represents New York Bay Capital in Doha, Qatar.

Alice's skill set includes expertise in banking, lending, and capital markets. Her global relationships with family offices, venture capital, and private equity funds further reinforce her capabilities in capitalizing and expanding new businesses.

After founding an innovative company (SyncData.ai) in Miami, she obtained backing from Qatar's leading new business accelerator and relocated to Doha in 2025. SyncData is a pioneer in the fields of applying AI to compliance, Smart Cities and crossborder transactions.

Multilingual (she is fluent in four languages), Alice has a flexible and collaborative approach to work under pressure, with demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level executives. Moreover, she helps our clients in sometimes unpredictable ways, by constantly thinking outside of the box!

Alice is also a recognized journalist and author of articles in award winning publications. She is the creator of a television series on entrepreneurship that accomplished rapid growth in the US marketplace.

Alice graduated from Universidad Andres Bello in Venezuela, and has completed graduate-level studies at the U of Geneva, Stanford, Miami-Dade and IBM.
