
Ashley Marín
Ashley Marín is the Founding Partner of Scirena, an accelerator and venture capital fund operating at the intersection of life sciences, cross-border capital, and go-to-market strategy along the United States-Mexico corridor. Born in San Diego and raised in the western-most US-Mexico border region, she brings a binational perspective and scientific foundation to the structuring of investment opportunities in biotech, pharma, and healthcare.
She trained as a molecular and cellular biologist at the University of California, Merced and deepened her analytical foundation with a specialization in Genomic Data Analysis from Johns Hopkins University. She subsequently built her commercial career in New York across spatial biology, metabolomics, and clinical evidence generation at Akoya, Panome Bio, and Rubix Life Sciences, developing deep expertise in go-to-market strategy for early and growth-stage life science companies entering US and international markets.
At Scirena, she advises biotech, pharma, and healthcare companies on commercial positioning, market entry strategy, and investor readiness across the US-Mexico corridor, with access to a curated network of institutional investors, clinical partners, and strategic operators in New York City and Mexico City. Strategic partners include Wilson Sonsini and Rubix Life Sciences.
